The ALZO Transformer DSLR rig is pretty sweet. I've only had it for a few days now but I knew right away that this thing was perfect for shooting video with my 7D. The designer of this DSLR cage definitely gave a lot of thought about everything a videographer needs for a small production. You can attach up to three devices on the shoe mounts, which is perfect for a monitor, a light, and a microphone. If you need to mount more things, you could always buy a bracket. Overall I'm stoked with the build quality and the overall design. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to shoot video with a DSLR. I would like to come back with a video review in a while.

The ALZO Transformer DSLR Rig is a bracket designed for supporting a DSLR camera and all of the auxiliary equipment required for professional video capture. This device easily mounts to a video tripod while allowing for unobstructed battery compartment access. Why is unobstructed battery access so important?
